Coach was founded in 1941 by a small family run workshop called Manhattan Leather Bags in a loft on 34th Street in New York City. Six artisans originally handcrafted wallets and billfolds by hand. Today, the brand is celebrated worldwide as a leading American fashion house known for "accessible luxury" leather goods.
